Census

Notes about the census: Right above James in the 1860 census is a listing for John Dysart. This is likely an older brother. Compare age for John (41) and James (35). Something to look out for when I look for their parents. Also a teamster is like a truck driver but with a wagon and a team of horses. This was during the gold rush and the fever was particularly strong in this county at that time so that could be related, or not.

Census Year Name Age Location Place of Birth Education or Employment
1850 James A Dysart 26 Robberson township, Greene county, Missouri, USA Tennessee Farmer
1860 James Dysart 35 Robberson township, Greene county, Missouri, USA Tennessee Farmer and Teamster
1870 Dysart James 47 Flint township, Benton county, Arkansas, USA Tennessee Farmer

Death

In the 1880 census, Louisa is listed as a widow. Therefore, James died between 1870 and 1880.
