According to the Fryer Family History, most of the Fryer children and Wallace, too, were fair skinned with red hair.

Eugene Wallace Fryer with wife, Clara, and their children. "Dad" is Ed Pat Fryer born 1890 making this picture probably 1896 to 1899. The number of children and genders don't quite match up enough to identify. They may have raised extra babies.
