Harold M. Smith

GARLAND - Funeral services were planned Saturday for Harold M. Smith, a local building contractor and a resident of Garland for 17 years who died Thursday in a Dallas hospital following a brief illness.

Services were to be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at the Williams Funeral Chapel with the Rev. J. R. Dunn officiating. Burial was to be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Farmersville. Mr. Smith was born in Vasser, Mich.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Hattie Bowers Smith of Garland.

He was born, April 23, 1906.

Pallbearers: Royal Taylor, Ray Warren, James Bowers, Hubert Lee, Eugene Berry and Emmet Lee.
