Birth Name Change
Billy George Stewart's birth certificate listed G.T. Stewart but was later legally changed to Billy George. Sheila Stewart shared this story with me July 23, 2016:
All those children in my father's family were born at home with a midwife, the midwife named the children whatever she wanted to LOL. My grandfather had to later go to the courthouse to correct the names given for Dewes, and my father's birth as well. My father was named G.T. Stewart at birth, and was later changed to Billy George.

The last living child of George Samuel Stewart and Hattie Walls Stewart died. Billy George Stewart 5-13-1929 passed 11-13-2015 in Grand Prairie, Texas and was buried at Shady Grove Cemetery, Grand Prairie, Texas. His wife, Jo Ann Shanklin Stewart (born 2-13-32 and died 6-29-13) buried in same place.
