Notes about John Felton Gore's Ancestry
I have been told by others that John Felton Gore's parents were James (Jim) Pinkney/Pickney Gore and Francis. A. Cochran (an Indian) and that James later remarried to Lou Cindy Hopkins and had several children described below. I haven't been able to establish, yet, a solid connection between John Felton and this particular man described below. The only solid evidence I have is Jim's death certificate that lists his father as J. P. Gore and Frankie Townsin. Below, I have included a time line of James P. Gore's family.
